L'intérêt principal de cette église réside dans l'existence de son plafond à caissons moulurés, seul exemple savoyard de l'emploi à une telle échelle d'un type de couvrement qui fut couramment utilisé dans les chapelles de village au début du 16e siècle. La décoration intérieure a été refaite à la fin du 19e siècle et confiée au peintre Prarioz : choeur couvert d'une coupole hexagonale décorée d'une copie de la Transfiguration de Raphaël (1875).

History
Church rebuilt from the 17th century, then again restored and heightened in 1703. The main interest of this church lies in the existence of its moulded coffered ceiling, the sole Savoyard example of the use on such a scale of a type of covering that was commonly employed in village chapels in the early 16th century. The interior decoration was redone in the late 19th century and entrusted to the painter Prarioz: choir covered with a hexagonal dome decorated with a copy of Raphael's Transfiguration (1875).
