History
This tower from the 14th century, of rectangular plan and defined as a "fortified house", represents an important milestone in the evolution of medieval Savoy. Known by the designation of its two successive functions, tannery and notary's office, it is composed of three elements: the tower proper, of medieval construction, a modern projecting section, a staircase, modern as well, which serves the storeys of the projecting section and the tower. The latter is furnished with three vaulted storeys, the last having preserved its characteristic medieval appearance.
