Historique
Après une destruction partielle de l'église antérieure due à la foudre, reconstruction d'un nouvel édifice dans la seconde moitié du 17e siècle. La voûte à pendentifs de l'avant-choeur est ornée d'un décor de médaillons de stuc, réalisé par le sculpteur en plâtre Dominique Blanc et Claude-François-Antoine de Morillon. La flèche du clocher, abattue à la Révolution, a été refaite en 1864 après un exhaussement de trois mètres. Le décor intérieur et le mobilier sont refaits au cours du 19e siècle : retable restauré en 1813 par le sculpteur Perracio, chaire de 1823, table de communion de 1837, tribune de 1827, maître-autel refait en 1850 par les frères Gilardi, peintures murales, ... A proximité, se trouve la croix autrefois située au centre du cimetière, déplacée aujourd'hui à côté de la chapelle de la Salette. Elle fut érigée en 1720 par la confrérie du Saint-Sacrement : il s'agit d'un petit monument en tuf, pilier pyramidal surmonté d'une sphère supportant une croix métallique éxécutée par Claude Marchal.

History
After partial destruction of the earlier church due to lightning, reconstruction of a new building in the second half of the 17th century. The pendentive vault of the ante-choir is adorned with a decoration of stucco medallions, executed by plaster sculptor Dominique Blanc and Claude-François-Antoine de Morillon. The bell tower spire, brought down at the Revolution, was remade in 1864 after a raising of three metres. The interior decoration and furnishings are remade during the 19th century: retable restored in 1813 by sculptor Perracio, pulpit of 1823, communion table of 1837, gallery of 1827, high altar remade in 1850 by the brothers Gilardi, mural paintings, ... Nearby, is found the cross formerly situated at the centre of the cemetery, now moved beside the chapel of the Salette. It was erected in 1720 by the confraternity of the Holy Sacrament: it is a small monument in tufa, a pyramidal pillar topped by a sphere supporting a metal cross executed by Claude Marchal.
