Historique
Emetteur radio construit en 1935 pour la radio privée appartenant à la Société Française Radioélectrique, installée à Lyon depuis 1927. Dû à l'architecte lyonnais Gabriel Deveraux, l'émetteur comporte un bâtiment en forme de temple, dessiné pour éviter un aspect trop industriel. Ce bâtiment a deux niveaux : le rez-de-chaussée est affecté aux groupes de convertisseurs pour courant continu et l'étage aux bureaux, à un studio et au pupitre de commande. Un bassin décoratif devant le bâtiment faisait partie d'un circuit d'eau, celle-ci étant utilisée pour refroidir les lampes d'émission. Connue pendant la guerre comme Radio Laval (Pierre Laval était devenu propriétaire de la Société en 1929) , la station est réquisitionnée à la Libération puis désaffectée. Le mât de 135 mètres de hauteur n'existe plus, et le bâtiment est très dégradé.

History
Radio transmitter built in 1935 for the private radio station belonging to the Société Française Radioélectrique, established in Lyon since 1927. Designed by Lyons architect Gabriel Deveraux, the transmitter comprises a building in the form of a temple, designed to avoid too industrial an appearance. This building has two levels: the ground floor is assigned to the groups of converters for direct current and the upper floor to offices, a studio and the control panel. A decorative basin in front of the building was part of a water circuit, the water being used to cool the transmission valves. Known during the war as Radio Laval (Pierre Laval had become owner of the Company in 1929), the station was requisitioned at the Liberation and then decommissioned. The mast of 135 metres in height no longer exists, and the building is very degraded.
