Claude Javogue était un révolutionnaire qui fût arrêté à Paris et fusillé le 10 octobre 1796. La maison fut totalement remaniée dans les années 1940. Aujourd’hui la maison a été restaurée à l'identique.

This house bears the name of Javogue in reference to Claude Javogue, lawyer, deputy for Rhône and Loire who lived here. Claude Javogue was a revolutionary who was arrested in Paris and shot on 10 October 1796. The house was completely remodelled in the 1940s. Today the house has been restored identically.
