Le Logis du Roi, ancien hôtel dit des Trois-Cailloux, est un édifice en brique et pierre (remarquons surtout la tour polygonale hors oeuvre abritant un escalier en colimaçon) du début du 16e siècle. Il tient son nom d'un séjour qu'y auraient fait Louis XIII et Richelieu, en guerre contre les Espagnols (siège d'Arras, 1636). L'origine de cet hôtel est assez obscure : possession du chapitre cathédral, il devient la propriété de Jean de la Forge, receveur général des finances de Picardie. Rebâti dans le style gothique flamboyant vers 1520, délaissé au 18e siècle, il est totalement restauré au lendemain de la Seconde Guerre mondiale.

History
The Logis du Roi, former hotel called the Trois-Cailloux, is a building in brick and stone (we note above all the polygonal tower projecting from the wall housing a spiral staircase) of the early 16th century. It owes its name to a stay that Louis XIII and Richelieu are said to have made there, during war against the Spanish (siege of Arras, 1636). The origin of this hotel is fairly obscure: a possession of the cathedral chapter, it became the property of Jean de la Forge, receiver general of finances of Picardy. Rebuilt in the flamboyant Gothic style around 1520, abandoned in the 18th century, it was completely restored in the aftermath of the Second World War.
