Unique et exceptionnel spécimen des grandes fermes seigneuriales appartenant à la bourgeoisie beauvaisienne et implantées aux portes de la ville aux 17e et 18e siècles. La ferme comprend un ensemble de bâtiments disposés en carré autour d'une cour. Le logis comprend un soubassement maçonné et un étage en pan de bois, partiellement en encorbellement sur cour. History
Unique and exceptional specimen of the great seigneurial farms belonging to the bourgeoisie of Beauvais and established at the gates of the city in the 17th and 18th centuries. The farm comprises a complex of buildings arranged in a square around a courtyard. The dwelling comprises a stone base and a storey of timber framing, partially corbelled over the courtyard. The large granary, constructed in 1773, is distinguished by very carefully worked chalk ashlar and alternating vertical courses of brick and chalk marking out each bay and each rafter of the roof structure; the cellar houses stone-ware vats intended for the manufacture of domestic cider.
