History
In the 15th century, the castle is attributed to a family of Scottish origin. The building was remodelled in the 16th, 17th and 19th centuries. The castle formed a large square around an inner courtyard. Only a postern dated 1567 with Renaissance decoration remains, and the keep flanked by a tower. The curtain walls have disappeared. The interior was largely modified in the 19th century. The north-east wing is covered with a roof structure with chevrons and collar-ties, built in the 17th century.
