Tour polygonale, seul vestige subsistant des remparts de la ville close, avec l'ancienne porte d'entrée de la ville. L'ouvrage est constitué de pierre de taille blanche reposant sur une base en moellons de silex. A l'étage, chaque angle de la tour est percé d'une archère. Au rez-de-chaussée, l'archère, se terminant en queue d'aronde, occupe le centre de chaque pan. Deux bouches à feu sont également percées sur les plans Est et ouest.

History
Polygonal tower, the sole remaining vestige of the ramparts of the walled town, with the former town gateway. The structure consists of white ashlar resting on a base of flint rubble stone. On the upper floor, each angle of the tower is pierced by an arrow slit. On the ground floor, the arrow slit, terminating in a dovetail, occupies the centre of each section. Two gun embrasures are also pierced on the east and west faces.
