Historique
Terre dépendant de l'abbaye du Bec-Hellouin. Le château résulte de deux reconstructions. Un château est reconstruit au 17e siècle, dont il reste le gros oeuvre, les dépendances, la cour d'honneur, le mur en hémicycle, l'avenue latérale ouest et un grand jardin potager. En 1741, suite à un incendie, le toit en pavillon est remplacé par la toiture actuelle. Sous Louis XVI, toute les fenêtres sont modifées, la distribution actuelle résulte de cette époque, hormis le grand escalier. Une extension est ajoutée au parc : transformation des terrasses au profit d'un parc anglais, création de la fabrique dans l'alignement du château, création du rond de danse. Autour de 1780, la manufacture Réveillon se charge des papiers peints pour la chambre à alcôve du premier étage, avec son cabinet attenant. Décor en arabesque sans doute dessiné par Henri Sallambier, spécialiste de ce dessin à l'époque.

History
Land depending on the abbey of Bec-Hellouin. The castle results from two reconstructions. A castle is rebuilt in the 17th century, of which there remains the main structure, the outbuildings, the court of honour, the hemicycle wall, the western side avenue and a large kitchen garden.
