Historique
Construction typique du Domfrontais, avec un corps de logis (1646) en granit, flanqué de deux ailes basses formant quadrilatère autour d'une cour d'honneur, le tout fermé par un portail et deux pavillons carrés reliés par un mur. La façade arrière du logis a été remaniée au 19e siècle, ainsi que l'intérieur. Les deux tourelles d'angle ont été exhaussées et couvertes de flèches. La poterne porte la date de 1661. Un mur surmonté d'un auvent la relie de part et d'autre à deux pavillons carrés garnis de meurtrières. L'aile nord fut reconstruite et surélevée en 1768. Elle renferme un appartement qui conserve des vestiges de boiseries. Datée de 1622, l'aile sud fut reconstruite en 1924.

History
Typical construction of the Domfrontais, with a main dwelling (1646) in granite, flanked by two low wings forming a quadrilateral around a courtyard of honour, all closed by a gateway and two square pavilions linked by a wall. The rear façade of the dwelling was remodelled in the 19th century, as was the interior. The two corner turrets were raised and covered with spires. The postern bears the date of 1661. A wall surmounted by a canopy links it on both sides to two square pavilions furnished with loopholes. The north wing was rebuilt and raised in 1768. It contains an apartment which preserves remains of wainscoting. Dated 1622, the south wing was rebuilt in 1924.
