Historique
Hôtel du receveur des tailles, construit au 17e siècle et complétement transformé au 18e siècle. L'accès à la cour d'honneur se fait par un grand porche comportant deux pilastres latéraux qui soutiennent une grande arcade plein cintre. Un mur de clôture part du porche pour rejoindre les deux pavillons d'accompagnement rectangulaires, alignés de chaque côté de la cour. La façade de la demeure présente une ornementation qui rappelle l'architecture autrichienne du 18e siècle, parti exceptionnel en Normandie. La façade arrière semble avoir gardé l'ordonnance de l'ancien hôtel du 17e siècle. A l'intérieur, le grand salon s'orne de boiseries du 18e, avec des dessus de portes peints représentant des amours. Les panneaux de la salle à manger sont garnis de toiles décoratives représentant des natures mortes.

History
Hotel of the tax collector, built in the 17th century and completely transformed in the 18th century. Access to the courtyard of honour is through a large porch comprising two lateral pilasters which support a large round arch. A wall of enclosure extends from the porch to join the two rectangular accompanying pavilions, aligned on each side of the courtyard. The façade of the dwelling presents ornamentation which recalls 18th century Austrian architecture, an exceptional approach in Normandy. The rear façade seems to have retained the layout of the former 17th century hotel. On the interior, the great salon is adorned with 18th century woodwork, with painted overdoors representing cupids. The panels of the dining room are filled with decorative canvases representing still lifes.
