La famille de Fontenay fut l'une des plus importantes du Perche et tint de nombreuses charges honorifiques depuis Pierre de Fontenay, gouverneur pour Henri IV. Quatre chainages de pierre séparent les ouvertures en longueur. Un petit fronton surmonte les ouvertures centrales. Sculptures en rocaille à la clé des portes du rez-de-chaussée, et aux fenêtres du premier étage qui conservent leurs balcons de ferronnerie.

History
The family of Fontenay was one of the most important in the Perche and held many honorary positions since Pierre de Fontenay, governor for Henri IV. Four stone chain-courses separate the openings in length. A small pediment surmounts the central openings. Rocaille sculptures at the keystone of the ground floor doors, and at the windows of the first floor which retain their ironwork balconies.
