Ce logis est le seul subsistant de tous les châteaux de l'actuel Menil-Gondouin. La cour est limitée à droite par le logis d'habitation, à gauche par des communs avec une tour, au fond par une grande remise avec un pressoir. Le logis proprement dit date du 18e siècle. Les communs paraissent remonter au 15e siècle.

History
This main dwelling is the only one surviving of all the castles of the present Menil-Gondouin. The courtyard is bounded on the right by the residential logis, on the left by farm buildings with a tower, at the back by a large store with a press-house. The main logis itself dates from the 18th century. The farm buildings appear to date from the 15th century.
