Cet édifice rural présente un ensemble homogène de la seconde moitié du XIVe siècle, avec une charpente à chevrons-formant-fermes datée 1383-1384 par dendrochronologie, ainsi qu'un décor peint essentiellement conservé au niveau du chœur et composé de faux-appareils et de frises en dents de scie et rinceaux.

History
The former parish of Méguillaume, a village probably founded in the 11th century, historically came under the abbey of Saint-André de Gouffern. Its church, originally dedicated to the Virgin, becomes a place of devotion to saint Sebastian. It is attached to the parish of Chênedouit in the early 19th century.

This rural building presents a homogeneous ensemble from the second half of the 14th century, with a roof structure of chevrons-forming-trusses dated 1383-1384 by dendrochronology, as well as painted decoration essentially preserved at the level of the choir and composed of false ashlar and friezes of sawtooth and scrollwork.
