History
The church was originally Romanesque and subsequently underwent numerous modifications. It is a former Benedictine priory dependent on the abbey of Saint-Denis de Nogent-le-Rotrou, a daughter house of Cluny. This priory had been founded around 1090. The choir dates from the 13th century. In the 15th century the nave was enlarged. Construction of side chapels. The church is composed of three separate parts: the bell tower, the nave and the choir. The bell tower, the oldest part, retains its original massive appearance. Inside, the architecture is a fine example of the ogival style of the 15th century.
