Historique
La devanture s'orne d'un décor néo-classique tardif très caractéristique des années 1820-1830, avec des arcades au cintre surhaussé, séparées par de légers pilastres. Ces arcades sont regroupées par trois, chaque groupe étant séparé par deux larges pilastres montant jusqu'à la corniche. L'ensemble comprenait à l'origine dix-huit arcades. L'immeuble a conservé le balcon en fonte ouvragé qui surmonte la devanture. A l'intérieur, une pièce ovale est entourée d'une corniche à modillons. Elle est divisée en panneaux verticaux séparés par de fins pilastres surmontés d'un chapiteau décoré de feuillages. Une niche en cul de four occupe l'un d'eux. History
The shop front is adorned with a very characteristic late neoclassical decoration from the 1820-1830s, with arcades with raised arches, separated by slender pilasters. These arcades are grouped in threes, each group being separated by two wide pilasters rising to the cornice. The ensemble originally comprised eighteen arcades. The building has retained the wrought-iron balcony ornamented with foliage that crowns the shop front. On the interior, an oval room is surrounded by a cornice with modillions. It is divided into vertical panels separated by slender pilasters topped with a capital decorated with foliage. A niche with a cul-de-four occupies one of them. The ceiling is entirely painted with a stylized decoration of palm trees and amphoras radiating around a small mythological scene which surmounts the entrance door. The oval is emphasized by a drapery motif.
