L'église, érigée en 969, rebâtie en 1093 et 1175, augmentée en 1205, s'agrandit au delà du rempart sur l'emplacement de la tour et des fossés de l'enceinte. History
The church, erected in 969, rebuilt in 1093 and 1175, enlarged in 1205, expanded beyond the rampart on the site of the tower and moats of the enclosure. The building underwent a general remodelling in the 14th century. In 1510, Philippe of Luxembourg gave the collegiate church the richly decorated shrine which contained the relics of Saint Scholastica. In 1716, this church served as a barracks. After serving as an arsenal during the Revolution, it became a primary school. In 1876, six tombs dating to the 14th century were discovered beneath one of the pillars. In 1903, the archaeological museum was laid out in the crypt.
