Château-domaine viticole de la vallée du Layon. Le château, de la fin du 16e siècle, conserve quelques éléments architecturaux médiévaux, dont les communs du 15e siècle. Deux tours cantonnant les communs ont été transformées en pigeonnier et en chapelle. La basse-cour avec auditoire de justice et maisons rurales des 16e et 17e siècles longe le flanc est de l'enceinte fortifiée.

History
Castle-vineyard estate in the Layon valley. The castle, from the late 16th century, retains some medieval architectural elements, including the outbuildings of the 15th century. Two towers flanking the outbuildings were transformed into a dovecot and a chapel. The farmyard with justice hall and rural houses of the 16th and 17th centuries borders the east side of the fortified enclosure.
