Eglise élevée de 1937 à 1939 suivant les dessins de Claude Robbe et de son successeur Alphonse Fénaux, tous deux architectes de la société de Wendel à Hayange, propriétaire de la Société des Mines de fer de Crusnes. De construction entièrement métallique (portiques en acier et murs extérieurs en tôle peinte) , elle a été conçue comme un prototype pour la fabrication en série d'églises destinées aux pays de mission. L'entreprise de Ferdinand Fillod (Constructions Métalliques Fillod) fournit les éléments métalliques. La verrière de sainte Barbe est exécutée par la société Mauméjean d'après un carton d'Hélène Delaroche : la sainte protège de son manteau les mineurs de fer et de charbon, les pompiers et les artilleurs. History
Church erected from 1937 to 1939 following the designs of Claude Robbe and his successor Alphonse Fénaux, both architects for the Wendel company at Hayange, owner of the Société des Mines de fer de Crusnes. Of entirely metal construction (steel framework and exterior walls in painted sheet metal), it was conceived as a prototype for mass production of churches intended for mission countries. The company of Ferdinand Fillod (Constructions Métalliques Fillod) provided the metal elements. The stained glass window of Saint Barbara is executed by the Mauméjean company after a cartoon by Hélène Delaroche: the saint protects under her mantle the iron and coal miners, the firefighters and the artillerymen.
