Habitation sucrière construite avant 1766 ; elle garde une fonction de sucrerie aux 18e et 19e siècles. Les vestiges offrent un ensemble apparemment cohérent, mais que le manque d'élévations ne permet pas de définir totalement. Il subsiste un moulin à bêtes à deux niveaux exceptionnel : c'est le seul exemple de la Martinique ; le moulin a conservé ses rolles.

History

Sugar plantation constructed before 1766; it retained a function as a sugar works in the 18th and 19th centuries. The remains offer an apparently coherent ensemble, but which the lack of elevations does not permit to define entirely. There remains an exceptional two-level animal-powered mill: it is the only example in Martinique; the mill has retained its rollers.
