Historique
La sucrerie Roussel-Trianon a été construite vers 1850. Il reste les ruines imposantes de l'usine à sucre en grande partie recouvertes par la végétation, la cheminée et le moulin en maçonnerie de pierre de taille calcaire. Près de la terrasse de l'ancienne maison de maître, aujourd'hui remplacée par une maison de géreur, un bâtiment agricole d'une qualité architecturale remarquable, se distingue par l'emploi de la pierre et de la brique, exemple unique dans les îles de la Guadeloupe. Cet ensemble reste, avec l'habitation Murat, l'un des plus beaux sites industriels sucriers de la première moitié du 19e siècle aux Antilles.

History
The Roussel-Trianon sugar refinery was built around 1850. There remain the imposing ruins of the sugar factory largely covered by vegetation, the chimney and the mill in dressed limestone masonry. Near the terrace of the former master's house, today replaced by a manager's house, an agricultural building of remarkable architectural quality is distinguished by the use of stone and brick, a unique example in the islands of Guadeloupe. This complex remains, along with the Murat plantation, one of the finest industrial sugar sites of the first half of the 19th century in the Antilles.
