History
Dependency of the abbey of Bourgueil attested from 1102, abandoned by the monks at the beginning of the 17th century. The priory comprises a church rebuilt between 1860 and 1869 and an eastern wing housing a 13th-century chapterhouse. Of rectangular plan, the main dwelling is furnished with a semi-projecting stair tower covered with a pyramidal stone vault and monumental chimneys. The building housing the chapterhouse dates essentially from the 13th and 15th centuries. The East wing is contemporary with the main dwelling. The church possesses a system of vaulting in a row of domes. Construction of the bell tower in 1860 by architect Dulin.
