Built from 1565 to 1609, completed thanks to Sully who frequently stayed at Châtellerault, the bridge comprises eight arches over 144 metres and two large towers flanking its entrance on the left bank of the Vienne. Straight deck, 21 metres wide, furnished with very raised pavements.
