Sur la façade de l'immeuvble est encastrée, à hauteur du premier étage, une large pierre sculptée où figurent une nef toutes voiles dehors et deux inscriptions. En haut : "Céans a bon vin et logis". En bas : "JHS RLE. OV. BLD 1585". Cette enseigne devait figurer sur l'auberge qui s'élevait à la place de l'immeuble actuel.

On the façade of the building is set, at the height of the first floor, a large carved stone on which appear a ship under full sail and two inscriptions. At the top: "Céans a bon vin et logis". At the bottom: "JHS RLE. OV. BLD 1585". This sign was to be displayed on the inn which stood in place of the present building.
