Historique
Construite au 12e siècle, l'église, après de nombreux remaniements, ne conserve plus de cette époque que l'abside, le choeur et le clocher. L'édifice présente un plan simple avec une nef unique épaulée par des contreforts, continuée par une travée de choeur rectangulaire et une abside carrée. La travée du choeur, qui supporte le clocher, est limitée par quatre piliers carrés auxquels s'adossent de fortes demi-colonnes à chapiteaux nus. Le clocher, du 12e siècle, présente sur chacune de ses faces, deux fenêtres géminées. Les quatre angles sont garnis de fortes colonnes à chapiteaux. L'abside a été surhaussée. La nef de trois travées, voûtée en berceau, était à l'origine plus élevée. Le portail date du 19e siècle.

History
Built in the 12th century, the church, after numerous alterations, retains from this period only the chevet, the choir and the bell tower. The building presents a simple plan with a single nave buttressed by buttresses, continued by a rectangular choir bay and a square chevet. The choir bay, which supports the bell tower, is bounded by four square pillars to which are set stout half-columns with bare capitals. The bell tower, of the 12th century, presents on each of its faces two geminate windows. The four angles are furnished with stout columns with capitals. The chevet has been raised. The nave of three bays, vaulted in barrel vault, was originally higher. The portal dates from the 19th century.
