Ce sanctuaire s'intègre dans un grand ensemble cultuel rural, situé sur un promontoire, au nord de la voie Lyon-Saintes. Le sanctuaire occupe la partie sommitale. Il se compose de plusieurs bâtiments groupés en trois ensembles. L'ensemble Est, comprend cinq temples de plans variés (temple à cella rectangulaire et pronaos ; temple octogonal indigène ; temples rectangulaires accolés à la façade occidentale). L'ensemble ouest, présente, dans une cour, deux temples carrés de type fanum. L'ensemble sud comporte une série de pièces disposées en forme de grecque.

History
This sanctuary is integrated into a large rural cult complex, situated on a promontory, north of the Lyon-Saintes route. The sanctuary occupies the uppermost part. It consists of several buildings grouped in three complexes. The East complex comprises five temples of varied plans (temple with rectangular cella and pronaos; indigenous octagonal temple; rectangular temples attached to the western facade). The West complex presents, in a courtyard, two square temples of fanum type. The South complex comprises a series of rooms arranged in the form of a Greek key pattern.
