Eglise fondée au 12e siècle (façade romane), remaniée à la fin du Moyen Age, reconstruite après les guerres de Religion. La cure était unie à l'abbaye de Baigne qui l'aurait créée vers 1120. L'édifice dut souffrir des guerres de Cent ans et être en partie reconstruit aux 14e et 15e siècles. Le plan est allongé et constitué d'un seul vaisseau de quatre travées. La façade surmontée d'un clocher-mur est divisée en deux par une corniche sur modillons. D'une ancienne galerie disparue, il ne reste que les traces d'une arcature. Quatre contreforts encadrent un portail central et deux arcatures latérales. Le chevet est ajouré d'un triplet. Eglise désaffectée, sauf pour quelques inhumations.

History
Church founded in the 12th century (Romanesque facade), altered at the end of the Middle Ages, rebuilt after the Wars of Religion. The curacy was united with the abbey of Baigne which would have created it around 1120. The building must have suffered from the Hundred Years War and be partly rebuilt in the 14th and 15th centuries. The plan is elongated and constituted of a single nave of four bays. The facade surmounted by a bell gable is divided in two by a cornice on modillons. Of an old gallery now disappeared, there remain only the traces of an arcature. Four buttresses frame a central portal and two lateral arcatures. The chevet is perforated with a triplet. Church deconsecrated, except for some burials.
