Haute tour carrée érigée sans doute au 11e siècle. La plus ancienne mention de la seigneurie de la Chaise apparaît sur un acte de 1512. Une tourelle en surplomb contient un étroit escalier en vis. Cette tour faisait sans doute partie d'un ensemble fortifié, ou servait de tour de surveillance. Des mâchicoulis ne subsistent que les consoles. Deux niveaux au-dessus du rez-de-chaussée sont visibles. Au premier niveau, un réservoir a été installé. Des vestiges de cheminées médiévales subsistent dans les étages.

History
Tall square tower erected probably in the 11th century. The earliest mention of the lordship of la Chaise appears in a deed of 1512. A corbelled turret contains a narrow spiral staircase. This tower was probably part of a fortified complex, or served as a watchtower. Of the machicolations only the corbels remain. Two storeys above the ground floor are visible. On the first storey, a reservoir has been installed. Remains of medieval chimneys survive in the upper floors.
