Historique
La façade s'ouvre par un portail composé de trois archivoltes aux contours sculptés. De chaque côté de ce portail, et séparé par un pilastre cylindrique montant jusqu'au sommet de la façade, se trouve une arcade plein cintre aux contours sculptés, avec tympan uni et en arrière formant niche. Dans la niche de droite, le motif sculpté a disparu. Dans la niche de gauche, est représenté un lit richement orné sur lequl repose un être humain avec, sur le pied du lit, un quadrupède qu paraît avoir une tête humaine. Au milieu et au-dessus des archivoltes du grand portail, se trouve une fenêtre de grande dimension. De chaque côté de cette fenêtre, une galerie se compose de six niches plein cintre sculptées et moulurées. Ces niches ont pour la plupart conservé leurs statues (douze apôtres). Le tout est encadré par deux autres pilastres cylindriques qui s'élèvent également jusqu'au sommet de l'édifice. Dans le pignon, au sommet de la façade, un médaillon représente le Christ debout avec, de chaque côté, deux anges debout.

History
The façade opens with a portal composed of three archivolts with sculpted contours. On each side of this portal, and separated by a cylindrical pilaster rising to the top of the façade, is a round-arch arcade with sculpted contours, with plain tympanum and forming a niche behind. In the right-hand niche, the sculpted motif has disappeared. In the left-hand niche, is represented a richly adorned bed on which rests a human being with, at the foot of the bed, a quadruped which appears to have a human head. In the middle and above the archivolts of the great portal, is a large window. On each side of this window, a gallery is composed of six sculpted and moulded round-arch niches. These niches have for the most part retained their statues (twelve apostles). The whole is framed by two other cylindrical pilasters which also rise to the top of the building. In the gable, at the summit of the façade, a medallion represents Christ standing with, on each side, two standing angels.
