History

Church of the 12th century, having probably replaced an older building and subsequently suffered modifications and reconstructions. The building is of rectangular plan with a single nave and semi-circular apse. The nave is covered by a wooden ceiling. The walls have been rebuilt but that on the south preserves traces of arcatures. The semi-circular apse is ornamented with seven blind arcades whose arches flattened rested on circular columns which have disappeared. The small columns of the windows present sculptured capitals. The western façade opens by a portal modified or remade in the 13th century, with pointed arch with two voussures on small columns with sculptured capitals. Two columns with capitals also sculptured, frame the portal and rise to the cornice. Above the cornice were found five arcatures. The upper storey was rebuilt in the 16th century. Old sculptures were reused, probably of Merovingian or Carolingian period.
