Historique
Demeure élevée au début du 16e siècle pour un riche marchand de draps du nom de Xanxo. Elle est bâtie dans le style catalan de l'époque. Sa facade, en pierre et brique, comprend deux chaînes de bossages très saillants et rustiqués. La porte d'entrée, ouverte au centre, est en plein cintre avec une archivolte composée de claveaux d'une seule pièce. Un second rouleau de claveaux porte un larmier décoré de crochets de feuillages. Deux baies carrées à colonnettes cantonnent cette porte. Au-dessus, un bandeau décoré de sujets recoupe la façade dans toute sa largeur. Le premier étage comportait trois baies. L'une d'elles a été remplacée par deux baies modernes. Les deux autres subsistent. L'ensemble est couronné par une toiture très saillante, suivant l'usage régional. A l'intérieur, le vestibule est décoré de deux portes. A droite et à gauche se trouvent deux salles voûtées, à nervures recoupées.

History
Dwelling raised at the beginning of the 16th century for a wealthy cloth merchant named Xanxo. It is built in the Catalan style of the period. Its façade, in stone and brick, comprises two chains of very prominent and rusticated bosses. The entrance door, opened at the centre, is in round arch with an arch composed of voussoirs in a single piece. A second row of voussoirs bears a larmier decorated with leaf ornaments. Two square openings with columnettes flank this door. Above, a band decorated with subjects cuts across the façade in its full width. The first floor comprised three openings. One of them has been replaced by two modern openings. The other two remain. The whole is crowned by a very projecting roof, following regional usage. Inside, the vestibule is decorated with two doors. To the right and left are found two vaulted rooms, with intersecting ribs.
