History
The building was begun in 1324 and is constructed of small materials. Baixas limestone is used for important bearing points and the ribs of the vaults. Pebbles taken from the Têt were jointed with lime mortar and, in places, with Roman cement. Brick is the most used material (bearing walls, vaults, roof parapets, splays of openings). The small lateral gutters are in green glazed pottery. Baixas limestone being unable to be carved, the few decorations (mouldings, gargoyles) are in red sandstone. The tracery is made of moulded cement mortar and set on an iron framework. They date from the end of the 15th century.
