In 973, the monastery of Sainte-Marie de Ripoll was put in possession of an alleu comprising houses, gardens, a mill and land. At the location of the disappeared "basilica" there rose another building, consecrated in 1219. The present apse is all that remains of this second church which gave way to a recent construction. This apse is semi-circular and vaulted with a cul de four vault. On the right side of the nave, near the choir, there nevertheless subsists an old chapel, vaulted on diagonals, which appears to date from the 14th century.
