The first church is mentioned in 935. The reconstruction dates from the early 15th century or the end of the 14th. The attached hermitage dates from the 18th century. The chapel consists of a nave, a lateral chapel, a pentagonal apse and a sacristy. The Gothic portal is preceded by a porch. It comprises marble posts and a 15th century oak door. False lattice rib vaults were applied to the nave in 1885. The south lateral chapel is vaulted with ribs whose springings rest on decorated corbels. The 15th century bell tower is surmounted by a spire of red bricks dating from 1831. To the north-west of the chapel, a portal marks the location of the disused cemetery. It consists of a round arch in sandstone supported by two columns with sculpted capitals and bases. These stones, according to their sculptures, could date from the 10th century and probably come from the first destroyed chapel. The porch appears to be later.
