Historique
La paroisse dépendait, avant la Révolution, du diocèse d'Alet et de l'archiprêtré de Fenouillèdes. L'abside arrondie, de même largeur que la nef, s'appuie d'un côté contre la tour carrée du clocher et semble plus récente. Quatre chapelles bordent la nef au nord. Le clocher est une haute tour carrée de deux étages inégaux, en léger retrait l'un sur l'autre. Il sont percés, au sud, de grands oculus. A l'étage supérieur, les angles forment des pinacles surmontés de boules. De ces angles partent des ailerons diagonaux se relevant jusqu'à un bandeau délimitant le haut du premier étage campanaire. Une seconde, puis une troisième série d'ailerons cantonnent les deux autres étages campanaires, le plus haut étant coiffé d'un dôme que surmonte une boule dans laquelle est fichée une croix en fer forgé, oriflammée.

History
The parish belonged, before the Revolution, to the diocese of Alet and to the deanery of Fenouillèdes. The rounded chevet, of the same width as the nave, rests on one side against the square bell tower and appears more recent. Four chapels border the nave to the north. The bell tower is a tall square tower of two unequal storeys, in slight recession one from the other. They are pierced, to the south, by large oculi. At the upper storey, the angles form pinnacles surmounted by balls. From these angles proceed diagonal ailerons rising up to a band defining the top of the first bell storey. A second, then a third series of ailerons canton the two other bell storeys, the highest being capped with a dome which is surmounted by a ball in which is fixed a cross in wrought iron, oriflammée.
