La demeure aurait abrité le reliquaire de la Sainte Epine qui avait été envoyée à l'Eglise de Mende par le pape Urbain V. De la restauration subie en 1665 subsistent la porte d'entrée et un escalier Renaissance. La porte est d'ordre dorique avec frise. Entre le fronton à volute se trouvent les armoiries des Buisson de Ressouches. L'escalier rampe sur rampe est en pierre, ainsi que la balustrade et la rampe. Le mur d'échiffre de l'escalier est remplacé par des arcs appareillés reposant sur des pilastres au bout de chaque demi volée.

History
The dwelling is said to have housed the reliquary of the Holy Thorn which had been sent to the Church of Mende by Pope Urban V. From the restoration undergone in 1665 remain the entrance door and a Renaissance staircase. The door is of Doric order with frieze. Between the scrolled pediment are found the arms of Buisson de Ressouches. The staircase, ramp over ramp, is in stone, as are the balustrade and handrail. The staircase wall of the stairwell is replaced by dressed arches resting on pilasters at the end of each half flight.
