Historique
Au début du 12e siècle, Raymond, sieur de Vailhan, donna l'église Saint-Laurent avec ses dépendances au prieuré de Cassan. Usurpée à la faveur de la guerre albigeoise, cette église fut rendue à Cassan en 1211. C'est probablement au cours de ce même siècle que fut entreprise la reconstruction de l'édifice. Cette entreprise n'a rien conservé de l'église antérieure. Les aménagements intérieurs datent du 18e siècle (grille de communion, fonts baptismaux, porte à barreaux droits). Le plan présente une nef unique de quatre travées, orientée à l'est, un chevet à trois absides polygonales et un clocher de plan barlong à l'angle sud-ouest de la nef. La chapelle latérale, située au nord, est moderne. Culs de lampe sculptés.

History
At the beginning of the 12th century, Raymond, lord of Vailhan, gave the church of Saint-Laurent with its dependencies to the priory of Cassan. Usurped in favour of the Albigensian War, this church was returned to Cassan in 1211. It was probably in the course of this same century that the reconstruction of the building was undertaken. This undertaking preserved nothing of the earlier church. The interior arrangements date from the 18th century (communion rail, baptismal fonts, door with straight bars). The plan presents a single nave of four bays, oriented to the east, a chevet with three polygonal apses and a bell tower of barlong plan at the south-west corner of the nave. The side chapel, situated to the north, is modern. Sculpted corbels.
