Cet hôtel existait avant le 18e siècle, mais l'édifice a été complètement remanié, agrandi et embelli par l'architecte Jean Giral, pour le compte du trésorier de la Bourse, Bonnier de la Mosson, qui acquit l'immeuble en 1712. La clef du chambranle est sculptée en perspective. Cette porte donne accès à la cour d'honneur en passant sous un porche voûté. Un dallage en cailloux roulés borde la cour et le porche et encadre, au centre, un chemin en dalles de pierre qui aboutit à un emmarchement au fond. Une porte à fronton cintré, avec motif sculpté, conduit par une galerie à la seconde cour de l'immeuble. A gauche dans la cour d'honneur se trouve le grand escalier. Les balustrades rampantes se composent d'éléments compris entre les piliers extérieurs et intérieurs qui supportent le limon au moyen d'arcs rampants. Des pilastres d'ordre corinthien sont adossés aux piles intérieures et leurs chapiteaux ne supportent rien.

History
This townhouse existed before the 18th century, but the building was completely remodelled, enlarged and embellished by the architect Jean Giral, on behalf of the treasurer of the Stock Exchange, Bonnier de la Mosson, who acquired the building in 1712. The body of the building situated between the two courtyards is believed to have been completed in 1700; the grand staircase in 1731. Only a small staircase to the right of the courtyard of honour would remain from the 17th century constructions. The entrance is made through a door with a stone surround, with rustication, crowned by a cornice. The key of the frame is sculptured in perspective. This door gives access to the courtyard of honour by passing under a vaulted porch. A paving of rolled pebbles borders the courtyard and the porch and frames, in the centre, a path of stone flags which ends at a flight of steps at the far end. A door with a curved pediment, with sculptured motif, leads by a gallery to the second courtyard of the building. To the left in the courtyard of honour is found the grand staircase. The ramping balustrades are composed of elements included between the outer and inner pilasters which support the stringer by means of ramping arches. Pilasters of Corinthian order are set against the inner piles and their capitals support nothing.
