Résidence établie en 1742 par le banquier Jean Pomier. Celui-ci a conservé les murs de deux maisons acquises, se bornant à moderniser les façades par une réfection générale de toutes les ouvertures. Ces fenêtres sont toutes semblables, légèrement cintrées, et décorées d'une clef de style Louis XV. La décoration de l'hôtel doit être reportée après 1765 ou 1770. Le portail, en anse de panier, présente un encorbellement largement excavé en niche et travaillé à refends et crossettes. La clef et les consoles des pilastres latéraux sont sculptées dans le même style que les clefs des fenêtres. Ces consoles portent une coquille posée de biais et une longue feuille découpée, enroulée obliquement. Les ferronneries seraient dues aux Bongues. Le portail ouvre sur un vestibule ovale. Le passage vers l'escalier est couvert par une poutre qui repose sur deux longues consoles en rocaille représentant l'une la tête d'Hercule, l'autre une tête à cheveux bouclés. L'escalier se développe sur trois volées droites par étage. La rampe est en fer forgé, avec alternance de tiges droites et de tiges ondulées et ramifiées, attachées à la base par des volutes en C opposées. History
Residence established in 1742 by the banker Jean Pomier. He preserved the walls of two acquired houses, merely modernizing the façades by a general refection of all the openings.
