Un premier temple fut érigé en 1650, rasé en juin 1662 sur ordonnance royale. Le porche d'entrée est flanqué de deux colonnes et porte la date de 1846. Le clocher est érigé en 1866.

History
A first temple was erected in 1650, razed in June 1662 by royal order. In 1839, considering the large number of faithful which the pastors can no longer cope with, the creation of a new section regrouping the Protestants of the villages of La Calmette, Dions and La Rouvière is decided. In 1844, the construction of a temple is requested, celebrations of worship taking place in the open air or in sheepfolds. The building is of octagonal centred plan with neoclassical facade. The entrance porch is flanked by two columns and bears the date 1846. The bell tower is erected in 1866.
