L'église de Russan est une modeste église rurale édifiée en 1682, en remplacement d'une église médiévale. C'est une construction à nef unique avec deux chapelles formant transept ; elle est couverte d'une voûte en berceau soutenue par un doubleau. Un clocher-mur coiffé d'un fronton courbe a été édifié en 1830 à la place de l'ancien. A l'intérieur, sont conservés quelques restes du décor de la fin du 18e siècle, mais l'essentiel du décor d'inspiration néo-classique date du 19e siècle (gypseries du cul-de-four à caissons ornés de rosaces de 1847, boiseries du choeur, décor peint d'inspiration médiévale, ....).

History
The church of Russan is a modest rural church built in 1682, replacing a medieval church. It is a single-nave construction with two chapels forming a transept; it is covered with a barrel vault supported by a relieving arch. A gable wall bell tower topped with a curved pediment was erected in 1830 in place of the old one. In the interior, some remains of decoration from the end of the 18th century are preserved, but the bulk of the decoration in neo-classical style dates from the 19th century (gypsum work on the cove ceiling with coffered ornaments decorated with rosettes of 1847, choir woodwork, painted decoration of medieval inspiration, ...).
