Historique
Le prieuré Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens remonte au 12e siècloe. Il était uni au chapitre collégiale de Notre-Dame de Beaucaire. La chapelle constituait, avant l'effondrement de sa voûte, le type presque parfait des chapelles romanes de la région. Une seule nef voûtée en berceau, terminée par une abside plus basse et plus étroite en cul-de-four. La seule décoration est constituée par une rangée de denticules, doublée d'une rangée de dents de scie tout autour de l'abside, sous les sommiers. La nef devait à l'origine être couverte de lauzes. L'abside a conservé sa couverture primitive.

History
The priory of Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens dates back to the 12th century. It was united to the chapter of the collegiate church of Notre-Dame de Beaucaire. The chapel constituted, before the collapse of its vault, the almost perfect type of Romanesque chapels of the region. A single nave vaulted with barrel vault, terminated by a lower and narrower apse in semi-dome. The only decoration consists of a row of dentils, doubled by a row of dog-tooth all around the apse, under the springer stones. The nave was originally to be covered with stone slates. The apse has retained its original covering.
