Des quatre tours qui le cantonnaient, deux seulement subsistent. A l'intérieur, un escalier à la française conduit aux étages. Quelques pièces ont conservé leurs plafonds à la française. A l'arrière du château, séparés par une terrasse, se trouvent les communs.

History
Birthplace of the marquis of Montcalm, lieutenant of the armies in New France. The castle consists of a main dwelling of two storeys, flanked by two square avant-corps. Of the four towers which flanked it, only two remain. Inside, a French staircase leads to the floors. A few rooms have retained their French ceilings. Behind the castle, separated by a terrace, are the outbuildings.
