Le mas formait autrefois un monastère dépendant du chapitre de la cathédrale d'Uzès. Il souffrit des guerres de Religion et fut vendu comme bien national à la Révolution. De l'ancien monastère subsiste l'aile ouest. L'aile située en face a été remaniée au 19e siècle en magnanerie. Le bâtiment nord présente une galerie néo-gothique construite en briques, et des escaliers en arc de cercle conduisant aux tours-pigeonniers.

History
The farmhouse formerly constituted a monastery dependent on the chapter of the cathedral of Uzès. It suffered from the Wars of Religion and was sold as national property at the Revolution. Of the old monastery there remains the western wing. The wing situated opposite was remodelled in the 19th century as a silk filature. The northern building presents a neo-Gothic gallery constructed in bricks, and circular-arc staircases leading to the pigeon-tower turrets.
