Vers la fin du 18e siècle, il se construisit tout au long de cette route du faubourg, quelques hôtels de notables que des intérêts commerciaux ne retenaient pas au voisinage des quartiers centraux et de l'agitation de la place du Marché. L'édifice rectangulaire s'élève, sur rez-de-chaussée, de deux étages et d'un demi-étage sous comble. La composition de la façade est symétrique, avec cinq fenêtres par étage et quatre au rez-de-chaussée avec entrée médiane. Toutes ces baies présentent des linteaux cintrés avec clés saillantes, plates aux étages, décorées de canaux et de feuillages au rez-de-chaussée. La porte d'entrée comporte deux vantaux à panneaux Louis XV symétriques. L'imposte en fer forgé est constituée par un fleuron central à sept pétales spiralés, accosté de grandes volutes en C, bouclées en leur milieu. Les pilastres de l'encadrement portent de hautes consoles à deux inflexions, avec chutes de feuillages. A la clé, un grand cartouche ovale est décoré d'enroulements et de guirlandes à bout flottant. Les fenêtres du rez-de-chaussée sont défendues par des grilles à barreaux droits, verticaux, entretoisés par deux traverses et scellés au plomb. Ces barreaux sont bombés à la base sur environ la moitié de la hauteur. Le heurtoir de la porte présente un serpent de cuivre coulé, articulé sur une charnière fixée, comme le butoir, sur une plaque d'appui en cuivre.

History
Towards the end of the 18th century, a few mansions of notable persons were built along this suburban road, people whose commercial interests did not keep them in the vicinity of the central quarters and the bustle of the Market Place. The rectangular building rises, on a ground floor, two storeys and a half-storey under the roof space. The composition of the façade is symmetrical, with five windows per storey and four on the ground floor with central entrance. All these openings have curved lintels with projecting keys, flat on the storeys, decorated with channels and foliage on the ground floor. The entrance door has two leaves with symmetrical Louis XV panels. The wrought iron transom consists of a central flower with seven spiralled petals, accompanied by large C-scrolls, curled at their centre. The pilasters of the framing bear tall consoles with two inflections, with leaf drops. At the key, a large oval cartouche is decorated with scrolls and garlands with floating ends. The ground floor windows are protected by grilles with straight, vertical bars, braced by two cross-ties and sealed in lead. These bars are convex at the base over approximately half the height. The door knocker presents a cast copper serpent, articulated on a hinge fixed, like the bumper, on a copper backing plate.
