Maison familiale du cardinal de Bernis. C'est à l'origine un édifice du 15e siècle, époque dont il subsiste une fenêtre à meneau sur la façade sur rue. La cour est de style Renaissance tardif, datant de l'époque Louis XIII. Elle présente une ordonnance palladienne qui semble être une copie du temple de Diane. A droite et à gauche s'ouvre, en rez-de-chaussée, une double arcade en plein cintre supportée par quatre piliers accompagnés, à l'extérieur, de colonnettes engagées supportant une platebande. A droite, entre les deux piliers médians, se trouve un puits surmonté par une petite arcade. Au fond, trois grands pilastres engagés sont séparés par de larges fenêtres. Au premier étage, percées dans des murs de brique, huit fenêtres sont surmontées de frontons circulaires et triangulaires en alternance. Entre les frontons et à leur niveau, un oeil-de-boeuf ovale est percé sur chaque face. Les pièces du rez-de-chaussée sont voûtées, à l'exception de celle de l'aile sud. History
Family home of the cardinal of Bernis. It is originally a 15th-century building, from which period a mullioned window survives on the street façade. The courtyard is of late Renaissance style, dating from the Louis XIII period. It presents a Palladian arrangement which appears to be a copy of the Temple of Diana. To the right and left opens, on the ground floor, a double round-arch arcade supported by four pillars accompanied, on the exterior, by engaged small columns supporting a band. To the right, between the two central pillars, is found a well surmounted by a small arch. At the back, three large engaged pilasters are separated by wide windows. On the first floor, pierced in brick walls, eight windows are surmounted by circular and triangular pediments in alternation. Between the pediments and at their level, an oval oculus is pierced on each face. The rooms on the ground floor are vaulted, with the exception of that of the south wing. The arrangement of the rooms on the first level is contemporary with the works of the courtyard. All the fireplaces date from the 18th century and come from various places.
