Ce gisement d'époque chasséenne est l'un des plus importants connus. L'agglomération néolithique regroupée à l'extrémité du plateau, formant éperon, est étendue sur trois hectares. Le fossé qui barre l'éperon mesurait à l'origine entre 120 et 190 mètres sur plus de 4 mètres de large et 2 mètres de profondeur. L'enceinte a été dégagée et fouillée : tous les niveaux de remplissage renferment des vestiges chasséens. Un sol d'habitat, qui se raccordait à une trentaine de structures creusées (foyers en cuvette, silos, fosses, troux de poteaux), a livré des vestiges archéologiques (outillage, débris de faune, poteries).

History
This deposit from the Chassean period is one of the most important known. The Neolithic settlement grouped at the extremity of the plateau, forming a spur, is spread over three hectares. The ditch which barred the spur measured originally between 120 and 190 metres by more than 4 metres wide and 2 metres deep. The enclosure has been cleared and excavated: all levels of fill contain Chassean remains. A habitation layer, which connected to around thirty dug structures (bowl-shaped hearths, silos, pits, post-holes), yielded archaeological remains (tools, faunal debris, pottery).
