L'une des caractéristiques du Lauragais était la profusion des moulins à vent qui surmontaient toutes les collines et formaient dans le paysage de véritables lignes continues dans les zones exposées aux courants aériens. Ce moulin est utilisé pour actionner une petite scierie. Sa construction est représentative de ce type d'édifice languedocien : tour tronconique, une seule couverture exigüe à l'aplomb de la porte, toit conique à deux couches de liteaux, maçonnerie de grès enduite. Les quatre ailes sont intactes, les pales de chêne équipées de leurs réseaux quadrillés, en bois de saule. Ces pales sont disposées sur un seul plan. L'ouvrage ne paraît pas antérieur au 19e siècle.

History
One of the characteristics of Lauragais was the profusion of windmills which topped all the hills and formed in the landscape veritable continuous lines in areas exposed to air currents. This mill is used to operate a small sawmill. Its construction is representative of this type of Languedocian structure: truncated conical tower, a single scant roof directly above the door, conical roof with two layers of boarding, render-coated sandstone masonry. The four sails are intact, the oak blades equipped with their crosshatch nets, of willow wood. These blades are arranged on a single plane. The structure does not appear to predate the 19th century.
