Historique
Sur un plan parcellaire du 18e siècle, un moulin à vent est dessiné qui pourrait correspondre à la tour, alors dénommée "moulin de Mme de Palaja". L'ouvrage se présente comme une tour carrée, renforcée aux deux angles de la face sud par des contreforts portant un grand arc de quatre mètres d'ouverture. La construction n'est pas appareillée mais en assises horizontales assez régulières. La partie haute de la tour est transformée en pigeonnier, avec bandeau. A la base de la tour, face sud, s'ouvre une porte en plein cintre. Un autre arc en plein cintre existait à cinq mètres du sol. Cette baie a été murée et transformée en fenêtre à pigeons. Cette tour ne semble pas antérieure au 12e siècle.

History
On a plot map from the 18th century, a windmill is drawn which could correspond to the tower, then named "mill of Madame de Palaja". The structure presents itself as a square tower, reinforced at the two corners of the south face by buttresses carrying a large arch of four metres opening. The construction is not coursed but in fairly regular horizontal ashlar courses. The upper part of the tower is converted into a dovecote, with a band. At the base of the tower, south face, opens a round arch door. Another round arch existed five metres above the ground. This opening was walled up and converted into a pigeon window. This tower does not appear to predate the 12th century.
